welcome

Hello! I’m Coach Lee, and my pronouns are they/them.  I am a wellness coach who blends the empowerment of strength training with intuitive mindfulness and yoga practices, creating self-accountability and long-term recovery and healing. I focus on helping people who identify as women break free from outdated patterns and recover from trauma.  As a queer, non-binary, and neurodivergent thinking person, I carefully navigate embodiment and the wellness world with a love of research and an open heart.

A Holistic Approach~

Blending the structure of personal training models with creative & intuitive practices that are trauma-informed, accessible, and inspiring, gives clients the opportunity to work rhythmically within their bodies throughout the seasons without shame or harsh judgment.

Having a holistic approach is rooted in the belief that quality food, water, movement, and mindfulness, are the pillars of healing and wellness, as well as human rights. I am committed to connecting different bodies to the resources and wisdom that will support long-term, healthy relationships & routines around food and movement. I advocate for body neutrality, which means resisting the culturally created pressure to view the way our bodies look as inherently positive or negative. We have long since discredited the idea that looking a certain way equates to good health, so prioritizing collaborating with clients to create sustainable movement and food routines to help them feel well first, can often lead to the aesthetic results they may be looking for. So, I never prioritize helping a client look a certain way at the expense of mental health or precious free time.

I have been honored to respectfully live, teach, and build community in the mountains of formerly indigenous Anikituwagi people, also known as the Eastern band of Cherokee, what is now known as Asheville, NC, where I have been residing since 2007.
