songs for love and ease – scorpio rising style – yocals
The online stream is down tonight so it’s just us Marshall friends on the FM dial – nice!
***I wasn’t sure if the shadow I would be bringing this evening would be DJ Marbles or my Scorpio rising, ya get scorpio rising with a heavy dose of love songs that hit all the highs lows and in betweens 😛
Having this show as a creative tool for self-reflection and growth is at times excruciating but mostly rewarding and I am grateful for the experience and the opportunity to bring comfort and ease to people through music because it is what soothes me when I feel alone during hard times.
Having taken on a sub-crusade through the Ricochet show to try and convince my friends in the south to vote, my number one goal of this show is to say that if music comforts and soothes you too then we understand each other and I hope you find some good songs within this racket. This show was dedicated to the listeners and so it was kind of weird/appropriate that it was only available on the FM, thanks so much for supporting.
If this show inspires you, please subscribe to things! The newsletter, my youtube channel, spotify, or comment on this post and tell me what you like about the show. That stuff means so much to me as I continue to bravely ride the waves of self-employment.

I hope a way to overcome the perpetuation of violence in our culture is to find creative ways to understand each other and I’ve been discouraged by social media lately and having a hard time finding ethical ways to promote my writing and work without pandering to social media sites run by white men who literally have the power to solve most of the problems we are on social media protesting. What if we all deleted social media until the war in Gaza was over?
*** If I start actually preparing my show, will it still be good ? I took an opportunity in the more intimate setting to share a possible idea I have for the future, and how I started to change a habit by writing myself a cryptic message on the living room wall. This morning I heard from one of my favorite astrologers- be careful manifesting under this full moon with mercury in retrograde, which I knew, but wasn’t too worried about because I do OK in retrograde seasons (I’m convinced this is a neurodivergent thing), and I wasn’t trying to manifest as much as I was experimenting with taking an opportunity to open up a little more under the circumstances. Also, whether you believe in astrology or not I’m going on nearly 4 years of this show and the ONLY time the online stream goes down is during retrograde or eclispe seasons.
