Learning about Noam Chomsky suffering from a stroke a couple of days ago at 95 years has got me going back and listening to talks of his. One of my inspirations for starting this website was a stubborn refusal to give up hope in journalism and discernment through critical thinking.
While the events of the world get more chaotic every day, I’m grateful for this voice for inspiring me to choose an “alternative” sort of life- of homeschooling, consuming delicious food, music, and library books over products from Wal-mart, and continuing to be curious and thoughtful about what is happening around me.
