A little bit about me-

Hi!  I’m Coach Lee, and my pronouns are they/them.  I am a queer, non-binary, and neurodivergent thinking person carefully navigating a wellness world with a love of research and an open heart.

As a Certified Personal Trainer, Holistic Health Coach, and Yoga Instructor I blend the structure and organization of the personal training and coaching models with creative & intuitive practices that are trauma-informed, accessible, and inspiring.

Fun facts-

Age:  40

Hometown: Yonkers, NY and forever with that NY sass

Caffeine?  Black coffee, jasmine tea. As a treat non-dairy chai with espresso in it.  So, yes.

Current gym goal:  Front splits, 11 minute mile, still remembering headphones

Strongest lifts: Leg press, get-ups, pistol squats

Weakest gym moments: Jumping rope, some cardio, bench pressing

Sports: Yes, any. NC Courage, futbol is life, rooting for the NY Yankees is in my DNA.

Big 3:  Libra sun, Pisces moon, Scorpio rising

On the turntable currently:  Rosali, Bite Down

Current Book(s):  As We Have Always Done by Leanne Betasamosake Simpson, Getting Good with Money by Tiffany Alliche

First/last concert:  Two epics!  Billy Joel and Rosali

Love language:  a healthy blend of them all plus music

TV:  Historically-  Seinfeld, Mary Tyler Moore and anything on Nick at Nite

Current-  9-1-1, NC Courage

Myers-Briggs-  INFP

Places I would like to move to:  Greece, Southern Italy, India

Last thing I ate:  Scrambled eggs with garlic and basil

To me having a holistic approach is rooted in the belief that quality food, water, movement, and mindfulness, are the pillars of healing and wellness, as well as human rights. I am committed to connecting different bodies to the resources and wisdom that will support long-term, healthy relationships & routines around food and movement. I advocate for body neutrality, which means resisting the culturally created pressure to view the way our bodies look as inherently positive or negative. We have long since discredited the idea that looking a certain way equates to good health, so prioritizing collaborating with clients to create sustainable movement and food routines to help them feel well first, can often lead to the aesthetic results they may be looking for. So, I never prioritize helping a client look a certain way at the expense of mental health or precious free time.

I have been honored to respectfully live, teach, and build community in the mountains of formerly indigenous Anikituwagi people, also known as the Eastern band of Cherokee, what is now known as Asheville, NC, where I have been residing since 2007.

Reversed Chakra bursts onto the indie music scene with “Game of Chess,” a track that entertains and invites listeners into a profound exploration of spiritual energy through music. This band stands out by challenging conventional norms, even embracing a philosophy that turns traditional spiritual energy flows on their head. The single showcases Reversed Chakra’s talent for crafting a rich sonic landscape, blending introspective indie rock with the moody allure of new wave and the expansive soundscapes of post-rock.

This ambitious fusion creates a song that feels both familiar and refreshingly unique. Produced by Paul Reeve (Muse), mixed by John Fryer (Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, HIM), and mastered by Richard Dodd (Kings Of Leon), the single has reached 2.1 million streams in less than a month. We can easily shout that we are witnessing the rise of a new sensation in indie rock!
